4Our
freshman-year curriculum provides our students (irrespective
of either biotechnology-concentration or
bioinformatics-concentration) with a solid background in
various disciplines of biological sciences, including biology,
physics, chemistry, and information technology.
4Our
sophomore- and junior-year curricula focus on two tracks: one
is core courses, which include biochemistry (laboratory
exercises included), biostatistics, basic bioinformatics, and
molecular biology; the other is specialty courses designed to
foster skills in specialized areas of biotechnology and
bioinformatics.
